Hope Community School classes end at 7th grade. They continue to assist some of the students once they go to high school with transport, text books, fees, uniforms and shoes.

The students at Hope Community School receive a meal every day after class. The meal program began after it was discovered that most of the children received limited nourishment. The diet consists of corn meal mash eaten with vegetables or soya chunks (similar to tofu). Meals are prepared in the kitchen and served by the cook. Feeding 350 children every day can get very costly. They either cook over firewood or on a donated gas stove. They currently don't have a dining hall; the future multi-purpose hall would also serve as a dining hall. This would be helpful in teaching the children proper meal etiquette.
